The Gardens is a multifamily housing complex in Santiago, Cusco, combining density, functionality and comfort in a proposal adapted to its context.
The arrangement of volumes, courtyards and common spaces makes use of natural light, ventilation and solar orientation. Cusco's climate becomes an active part of the design.

Architecture that responds to its place
The proposal starts from a volumetric configuration that opens up voids, courtyards and in-between spaces within the complex.
These spaces bring natural light and ventilation into the homes, while the orientation of the blocks and the design of the envelope contribute to the building's thermal behaviour.
The result is an architecture that balances privacy, interaction, daylight and comfort, creating a residential experience more closely tied to the climate and the urban surroundings.
